Little Rascals Nursery Staff

Debbie Clarke	Claire Jenns	Ian Blair

The nursery is co-owned and managed by Debbie Clarke. With a career spanning over twenty years she brings the nursery a wealth of experience and knowledge. Debbie holds an N.N.E.B. qualification and Foundation Degree.

Claire Jenns is the Nursery Supervisor, she also has vast experience with the under fives. Claire has been qualified since 1996 and has updated her NVQ 3 to a level 4.

Ian Blair is the Nursery Third in Charge with 12 years experience in both nurseries and child care settings.

We believe that a nursery is only as good as its staff. The high quality of our staff has often been remarked upon and we seek to employ only those with a genuine love of small children. We believe that by employing the best staff we will offer the best quality care.

When we find the right staff we enhance their previous qualifications and experience by offering in-depth training programmes to ensure we are all working with up to date theories and practice. Staff working for us also benefit from various other enhancements, which helps us achieve good staff retention.

All our staff hold childcare qualifications or are actively working towards them. Many of our qualified staff have achieved a level 4 or are planning to embark on the training. It is also our policy that all staff working with children undergo first aid training including the special knowledge required for helping babies and children.

Only staff with a level three qualification and above are counted as qualified staff. Our team wear different coloured uniforms black or red are level 3, burgundy are level 2, and trainees wear grey. We guarantee that you will never see a burgundy or grey t-shirt alone in a room with children.
